The 'Big Sing' which took place at the Wellington Town Hall on Wednesday June 8, 2005 involved more than 30 choirs, including Tawa College's Dawn Chorus, Morning Stars, Acafellas (boys) and Maiden Tawa (girls). The Dawn Chorus is an all-comers choir with approximately 200 members, one in every seven students at Tawa College.
