Tawa College travelled to Hawkes Bay 11-13 August to take part in the Havelock North High School Winter Exchange. The weather was great after the original plans were washed out, and the teams provided great sporting entertainment and achievements with one or two dramas along the way!
Tiare Lesa was awarded the Fair Play award for the exchange after giving her basketball shoes to her billet to play in, and playing the game in her normal trainers - great sportsmanship - well done!
Tawa College staff had great reports back from the billet families about the good behaviour of our students. Everyone was made to feel welcome by the Havelock North High students and staff.
